My home office is at a complete standstill because my Brother HL-L2350DW laser printer has suddenly started showing a "Print Unable 0B" error on its tiny display. The cooling fan spins up for a second and then everything just dies, and I'm worried that the high-voltage power supply or the main engine PCB has suffered a terminal failure. Has anyone found a way to perform a deep "reset to factory defaults"?

The official Brother support forums is mostly about replacing the toner or the drum unit, which I've already attempted multiple times with no success at all. I decided that I’m not ready to throw this printer into the recycling bin just yet. Does anyone know where I can download the actual factory service manual for Brother laser printers so I can check the voltages myself?

Before you start stripping the plastic casing off, have you checked if there is a tiny scrap of paper caught in the rear duplex tray or if the cooling vents are completely clogged with dust? I experienced a very similar headache with my old HP last year and found that clearing the internal NVRAM often clears these hardware flags. I discovered a really thorough technical breakdown on the Manual Machine portal at https://manualmachine.com and it was a total lifesaver because it included the full service manual with the "Maintenance Mode 88" codes that aren't in the user guide. I suggest you also check the section on the low-voltage power supply, as sometimes a loose connector on the main board can cause these intermittent power-offs.
